As the den was being rebuilt, the wolves noticed something unexpected - a group of hunters, marching towards the den with weapons in hand. The wolves were shocked and scared, they had thought that they had seen the last of the hunters. The leader of the wolves stepped forward and challenged the leader of the hunters to a fight, to determine once and for all who would rule the land.
The two leaders fought fiercely, with neither gaining an advantage over the other. Just when it seemed that the fight would go on forever, the leader of the wolves made a bold move and disarmed the leader of the hunters. Instead of killing him, the wolf leader offered a hand of friendship, and asked for a truce.
The leader of the hunters, surprised by this unexpected turn of events, agreed to the truce. From that day forward, the wolves and the hunters lived in peace. They worked together to protect the land, and the animals that lived in it. They also began to trade goods, and share ideas, creating a relationship that was based on mutual respect and cooperation.
The Golden Bone, which had once led the wolves home, now served as a symbol of the truce between the wolves and the hunters. The wolves had finally found peace, and had created a society that would last for generations to come.
